Inventory Management
Groendyke specializes in inventory management services of customer product levels. We perform storage tank monitoring at consignees and inventory availability at shipper locations.

We created our own proprietary software, FMS (Fuel Management System), to enable us to monitor and manage inventory levels at over 800 retail and wholesale sites. Our system has also proven to be a highly effective tool for managing inventory levels at chemical and manufacturing plants.

Document Retrieval
Our continued investment in scanning technology allows us to provide our customers next day retrieval of delivery documents including bills of lading and delivery memos through our website. This gives our customers the ability to increase their cash flow through faster invoicing for their products.

Rail to Truck Transfer Site
Groendyke has established a rail to truck transfer location at our Kansas City Terminal which enables us to transload a wide range of liquid products on site. Our customers can position inventory closer to their customers to reduce order-to-delivery cycle time.

Private Fleet Transition
Many shippers have discovered that transportation is not one of their core competencies, and with the increasing administrative costs involved in private fleet operations, have requested assistance with outsourcing. We have provided several of our customers with transition programs from private fleet operations to Groendyke managed services. Implementations have included personnel, equipment, and administrative services to reduce overall operating cost to the shipper without interrupting service to the customer. Whether it is one truck or one hundred trucks, Groendyke will custom design a cost effective transition plan to meet your distribution needs.

On-Site Coordination
The inclusion of transportation operations into a customer's production planning maximizes productivity across the supply chain, reducing costs. As part of Groendyke's partnership expansion, our personnel have taken on a wide variety of transportation and distribution responsibilities for customers including scalehouse management, truck scheduling, interplant shuttle service, ERP shipment data entry, and equipment maintenance services.
